Into The Storm
Maybe it's just me, but I'm continually amazed at how different we think we are from everyone else until we share a part of ourselves or hear someone else's story and find many of our fears are just the same. Why do we hide our vulnerabilities? When I finished my last piece a friend of mine told me how the story behind the work resonated him. I was telling him how this series to me is all about the past 5 years of my life learning how to eradicate fear and not run from the despairs of the past or challenges of the present. He then asked if I had heard about the buffalo...that buffalo don't run from the the rain, when they see a storm they run towards it. Fact or fable the symbolism really touched at what the heart of this work is about.
